Dear Parents / Carers,
On behalf of myself and all the staff may I welcome you and your child to Walton Holymoorside Primary and Nursery School. I hope that the years ahead will be happy, interesting and informative and that whilst your child is with us he/she will acquire a set of values which will help him/her to lead a full and productive life in the future.
This booklet has been written to tell you something about our school and the way it operates. It is not our intention to tell you all about our school in this brochure but to give you a "flavour" of our provision and ethos. Should you choose to send your child to our school then further detailed information - pertinent for all new starters - will be issued at the new starters Parents' Meetings usually held in June and December of each year.
Parents are also encouraged to visit the school prior to application so that you can see our provision for yourselves and ask any questions you may have.
Walton Holymoorside Primary and Nursery school is a happy, exciting and stimulating place and we will endeavour to ensure that your child's potential is developed to the full during his/her stay with us.Your support and encouragement,as parents,will help ensure that this happens. If ever problems or anxieties arise, we promise we will do our best to help.
